Project Overview
Google’s BiliCam is an innovative to tool to quickly diagnose jaundice in infants. By adhering a unique CMYK QR sticker to the baby’s chest. Bilirubin levels can be checked instantly with a simple photo-scan.
My role
As the sole, Lead Designer I was responsible for the experience from end-to-end. Working with 3 stakeholders and a PM I developed UX flows, wires, prototypes, custom illustrations, and of course the final hi-fi screens using Google’s Material design system.
UX Flow

Final Art
I created a versatile style based on simple geometry and using minimal monotone pallets to create depth and show detail. Works perfectly for spot illustrations and instructional graphics.

Prototyping is my pride and joy. If you don’t have working context of what you’re building you can’t make solid design choices. Prototypes tell a more complete story, which helps communicate with stakeholders, creates more accurate user testing results, and makes handing-off to dev a breeze.
